Ultraviolet
March 24, 2006I saw a portion of the trailer of Ultraviolet. It was very cool. Milla Jovovich looks tough and sexy, and the way she kicks ass is impressive. I would have compared her to Charlize Theron if only I was able to watch Aeon Flux. Too bad, I wasn’t. Fortunately, I will have possessed enough budget by the time Ultra comes in local cinemas. I cannot afford to miss yet another good movie. [Hmm, I guess I am sending the impression that I am broke. Well, whatever. I really am. Wawa no?]
Though I saw not-so-good reviews about it, I am still aching to watch. Huh, no amount of bad reviews can stop me now. I was already devastated when I missed Aeon.
To hell with those critics. I had enough of their wet-blanket attitudes. I was fooled by them once when I watched Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), because of their excellent reviews. I nearly walked out of the cinema if not because I was concerned about the money I paid. I don’t wanna be fooled again. As Leann Rimes’ song puts it, "Shame on you if you fooled me once, Shame on me if you fooled me twice."
I think that’s enough explanation.

Juz watched Ultraviolet last night, the fight scenes are well choreographed but the story in general lacked depth..it seemed like it was just a teaser for the sequels to come..liked Aeonflux better
